Fire Sprinklers
Extinguishers
Did you know that the majority of fires in sprinklered buildings are handled by only one or two sprinklers? Sprinklers keep fires small by operating automatically in the area of fires' origin, preventing fires from growing to a more dangerous size.
In the event of a fire, sprinklers save water and do less water damage. The amount of water used by fire departments to extinguish fires in non-sprinklered buildings is normally tens to hundreds of times more than that which sprinklers would have used.

A National Fire Protection Association study found that installing a sprinkler system in your building not only saves lives, but also saves dollars, as well. The study revealed that property damage in hotel fires was 78% less in buildings with sprinklers than in those without from 1983-87. The average loss per fire in sprinklered buildings was $2300, compared to $10,300 in non-sprinklered buildings.
